I’m back!! YAY

Hello blog fans, I’m making a comeback. I unfortunately had covid at the end of January that threw on the beginning of my semester but we are back + great.

Some semester happenings: I have 4.2 paid jobs on campus currently (student government senator, campus dining intern, research student, tour guide, & a part of the Jewish Learning Fellow (this is the .2 because I have weekly meetings & after the program, I get a small stipend)). I am taking 17 credits (Urban & Environmental Policy (101), US Public Policy (305), Contemporary Theories of Sociology (205), Urban Sociology (270), & Choir (120)). My google calendar is a bit of an intense art piece. I am also currently thinking about what I want to declare my major as (which I have to do by the end of this semester) as well as where I want to study abroad (almost set on Spring 2025). I am also waiting to hear back from some summer opportunities but I hope to be busy!! This is week 7 of the year & already February. (There’s five Thursdays this month!!)

I enjoy the amount of business that I have but I do think that it can be a bit intense, especially if meetings or events I want to attend pop up. I enjoy have this amount of structure but I miss seeing my friends (womp womp). I have my mock tour (basically a test before you are released to the public) & I am NERVOUS for it!! I want to do well & make sure I get all the points out.

Recent thoughts: lots of reading, Frantz Fanon, urban soc paper, politics assignments?, what is dining hall, mock tour, hungry yum, I look cool today I think, don’t eat sandcastles, dante keeps looking at my computer screen, blah blah blah, heart!, im so good at stalking, hi zoë, I miss sam, ebeth & carol hi!
